1. You can tee off from anywhere in between and behind the two new TPZ emblems. You re also allowed to place your ball on the emblem to tee off if you please.

 

2. There is no relief from the rough line or rough in general.

 

3. If your ball goes into the rough, you can play it where it lies with no penalty.

 

4. Any hill on the same hole that you are playing that is not marked by hedges or signs can be played through.

 

5. Players can also skip over the hills on hole 11 and hole 12 near the end of the hole.

 

6. We are going to play in twosomes or threesomes. With any group, one player will go and then when they hit their second shot away from zone one on any hole, the next player will then be able to go. This continues until all players are finished with the hole. All players then consult with each other on scores and then they move on to the next hole. The next group can go once the zone is open. This rule will change for scramble formats. In that situation, a player goes and then marks their ball, then the next player goes.

 

7. During play, players will need to do their best to watch the other players in their group while still focusing on their own shots.

 

8. We are not going to allow the marking of the ball at any time during the hole other than scramble format play.

 

9. A zone hit gives you a minus one stroke. A zone hit is good if your ball is sitting anywhere on the white circle or if you are on the edge of the zone and at least one white fiber is touching the ball. If you hit a zone the first step will be to notify a playing partner. If there is a debate on whether or not a zone hit is good, you will need to call over a zone Marshall. There will be two zone Marshalls on each nine out there that you will have to call over if you are unsure whether your ball is in the zone. If there is an argument with the zone Marshall, then the final say will be the owner (Bill) who will come over to make a final ruling.

 

10. Any ball hit into the rocks, walls, another hole or pathway area is considered OB and you will have to take a one stroke penalty and hit the shot again from the same spot you just hit it from.

 

11. You are not allowed to fly a ball over a rock bed.

 

12. If you hit a tree that is also considered OB other than the tree on hole 15 which can be hit. A player also gets relief from that tree if it is in their stance or back swing.

 

13. If a cup cover, drink post, plastic cover or signpost is in your line of sight of the hole, you are allowed relief from that obstruction of one club length, no nearer the hole.

 

14. You are allowed to play over hills that do not have signs or ivy blocking them.

 

15. There is a Triple bogey maximum on every hole.

 

16. A particular zone can only be hit once.

 

17. If you step up to address the ball and you have not touched the ball and the ball moves, it is not a penalty. You must place the ball back to where it was before it moved.

 

18. “Zone Hogging” is not allowed. This is where you egregiously substitute a good score by trying to hit zones. If you need to hit your ball into a zone to get better position that is okay. However, we kindly ask that you not hit your ball into a zone for no reason other than to rack up zone hits to win a prize. This is on the honor system so please be respectful.

 

19. In a particular group one player will keep the score on the live scoring system through their phone and the other remining players will keep a physical card.

 

20. When it comes to any rule’s infraction, it is up to a player to call it on themselves or for a playing partner to call it on a player. This needs to be settled within the group. If there is an argument over whether a rules infraction took place, it needs to try to be settled within the group. If it cannot be settled, a zone Marshall can be called in to assist. In severe cases, Bill can be called in to decide on the situation. Please be honest. In the end, it is up to the player to be honest about what they have done.
